OUR STORY

didn't start with a business plan.

It started the way most of our ideas do; sitting together, talking, laughing, and dreaming up what's next.

We've been in each other's lives for over 20 years, and our friendship has always been built on creativity, connection, and a shared love for bringing people together. We're very much yin and yang. One of us is dreaming up the experience, while the other is figuring out how to bring it to life.

For years, Marisa has worked in the wedding industry through photography, makeup artistry, and officiating weddings. Creating meaningful experiences has always been her favorite part of the work.

Sherry has a gift for seeing possibilities where others don't. Her creativity, eye for detail, and ability to transform a vision into something memorable make every experience feel intentional and unique.

After building community through Mary Jane's Joint, we realized our favorite part wasn't just the products, it was the experience. The way people felt when they walked through the door.
